An avid Bboy (Breakdancer), DJ and Audio Engineer from Pacoima, CA with over 10 years of teaching and performance experience. Aside from his own professional pursuits, Eric leads school and community-based programming through various agencies such as the EduCare Foundation, the Flourish Foundation, Youth Policy Institute, and the YMCA. Eric is also the Lead Audio Engineer at Aztlan Athletics and manages stage sound and performances for marathons and athletic events throughout Los Angeles County. His diverse experiences as Artistic Director of The GR818ERS have informed his innovative approach to teaching Dance, Music and Art to youth and young adults. He approaches his work with a critical cultural lens and utilizes his talents to empower his students throughout Los Angeles County to connect with their community in meaningful ways.
