MARINO FERNANDES has been studying djembe music since 2005. He has had the opportunity to study with Issa Coulibaly, Joh Camara, Sidy Maiga, Sory Diabate and Moussa Traore. He plays for Seydou Coulibaly's dance classes and various classes and workshops in the Boston and Providence area. Currently, Marino is a doctoral student at the University of New Hampshire studying Composition and Linguistics.
