RAWKIN' RHYTHMIX (RKR) is a research and performance Hip Hop group based out of Brown University and the Greater Rhode Island Community that critiques, challenges, studies, and learns from past and contemporary dance forms. RKR works as community partners with Brown's Theatre Arts & Performance Studies (TAPS) Department and collaborates in the Engaged Scholarship Courses at Brown through New Works/World Traditions (TAPS 1370) and contemporary Mande performances. RKR also currently works as Community Liaisons to to Ground Breakin', Brown Universities student-run Hip Hop club/performance group.
